RCT Conservatives are delighted to announce that Llantwit Fardre councillor and Pontypridd Senedd candidate Joel James has been selected as one of the regional candidates for the upcoming Welsh Government elections in May.

Following a regional ballot by Welsh Conservative party members, Cllr James has been adopted as the second candidate in the South Wales Central Region, just behind long-standing Senedd Member and leader of the Welsh Conservative group, Andrew RT Davies.

Commenting on his selection, Cllr James said, "I am so delighted to have been selected by the regional members to be their second placed candidate on the list. There is so much I would like to do for the area, and I am looking forward to campaigning in the upcoming elections. Andrew is an absolutely fantastic Senedd member and I want to support him all the way in what he is doing for the Party and the region."
